Campus card is an IC card used on campus, which has a real name authentication system and is one of the credentials for college students to verify their identity. All charges on campus can be transacted through the campus card, such as cafeteria dining, supermarket consumption, bathing, drinking water, etc. It is a special IC card (divided into contact IC and non-contact IC) or magnetic card issued by universities for the convenience of students and their own management.

The initial main function of campus cards was to allow students to order meals in the cafeteria, replacing cash and invoices, and achieving electronic management of cafeteria dining. Later, the campus card was extended to some schools where shopping could be done in supermarkets and others where it could be used as a water card to fetch water. Different schools have different regulations on its usage scope based on their own situations, but it must all be used within the school.

Campus cards are usually distributed free of charge to faculty, counselors, and students. On campus, the "Campus Card" combines functions such as work ID, library card, travel card, dining card, access card, wallet, and passbook into one card, truly achieving the goal of "one card in hand, walking around the campus".

At present, the campus one card system has been technically integrated with the logistics management department (cafeteria food sales, boiling water, laundry, transportation, commercial consumption systems, etc.), library (library automation management system), experimental center (computer room computer management system), education technology center (dormitory area internet authentication and billing system), and other departments. It can interface with departments such as the Human Resources Department (Human Resources Management System), Academic Affairs Department (Digital Academic Affairs System), Finance Department (Financial Management System), Student Affairs Department (Student Psychological Counseling System), etc.

The "campus card" realizes the management of daily activities of teachers, students, and staff, and provides important information for teaching, scientific research, and logistics services. It is one of the important symbols of school informatization.
